The unique interlocking lips of the trellis blades complete with specially designed storm seals provides adequate protections during normal poor weather condition. The system comes with the state of the art rain sensor that automatically closes the trellis system when rain drops are detected by the sensor and opens up when the sensor thinks it is safe to do so.

We provide a limited 5 years Warranty for the trellis fins and structures. A 18 months Warranty for the motor and electronics are given on commissioning of the system subject to terms and conditions therein contained. The Warranty does not cover consumables such as remote controller, storm seals, sealants, powder coatings, etc.

Trellis fin is constructed on hot dip galvanised steel frame to design and feature all required guttering and down pipe.
The trellis fins rotate on a hard-wearing pivoting which are impermeable to moisture and UV radiation. The system will ensure years of trouble free comfort and enjoyment of fresh air and shading as well.

Trellis surface is in powder coated finish to a large range of colours to be selected by customers

Trellis is roll-formed in double skin from zincalumn sheet with a steel spine within it.
Movement of the trellis is control through the electronic control panel and will pivot to a full 100 degree for effective shading from the blazing sun and close down flat to interlock each other and form a barrier against the full blazing sun as well as the rain on rainy weather.
Lips of the trellis blade are fitted with storm seals.
Holding structures are fabricated in hot dip galvanised steel against corrosion to design appropriate for the job.
Gutters are fabricated from heavy duty EG sheet plate and complete with waterproofing within it.
Powder coated facial claddings are affixed to all exposed steel frame with sealant in between claddings.

System is controlled from an electronic panel and complete with an external rain sensor.
It is a complete DC system with an automatic charger built within the panel to charge the battery pack through an external normal 13amp AC source.
System is operated by a remote controller and wall control panel can be installed as an optional feature.

Width of trellis fin is approximate 210mm.
Length of the blades are costumed roll-formed to the maximum length of 3000mm or thereabout with minimum deflection.
Any length of the trellis longer than stated can also be roll-formed but at the risk of deflection setting in as it lengthen.
However, it is advisable not to have the length of trellis exceeding 3200mm as noticeable deflection can be experienced and water tightness adversely compromised during rainy days unless the trellis is to be used solely for sun shading purposes.
The weight of the trellis fin only is approximately 3kg per meter run.
